The shape of this wall hanging ornament was inspired by both one of our beloved ceiling roses in our home, and the shape of one of the houses we see from our bedroom window. It gives us an instant feeling of comfort and peace.
Figs have a deeply personal meaning to us, like many - if not all of the symbols and depictions we use in our work.
In general, figs, thought by a lot of scholars to be the “original forbidden fruit” of the garden of Eden, not the apple, are a symbol of spiritual enlightenment, prosperity, and self-awareness.
