FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do you take commissions?

We are planning on taking commissions for very specific pieces, with a very strict guideline of what we offer and what we don’t. We believe that everything we do is charged with the energy we put into it, so we will only offer commissions for pieces we know we will love to create and be able to hand a loved piece to you.
We will update on any open spots for commissions on our Instagram (stories and posts) and via our newsletter.

Do you ship worldwide?

As of now, we only ship to countries within the EU and the UK.
Should this change, we will update it here IMMEDIATELY, as we very well know that a lot of people from outside of the EU would love to collect our pieces, too.

How long will it take for my piece to arrive?

We ship out orders once a week. So depending on what day an order gets placed it might take up to 7 days until it gets sent out. You will receive a shipping update once it’s on its way to you!

What type of Payment methods do you accept?

In our online shop we accept most credit and debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay and bank debits like SEPA Direct Debit snd iDEAL. Unfortunately we do not accept PayPal, Klarna or Afterpay.

In our physical shop in Bingen am Rhein we accept Visa Card, Master Card, Giro Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Cash.

Do you have a physical store?

Yes! We have our beautiful atelier in the historic town of Bingen am Rhein in Germany, which is set directly on the river Rhine!
It is still in the last stages of renovation, but will officially open the 1st of July 2026. So visit us, our ceramic and tattoo atelier and showroom to see our pieces or participate in one of our workshops!

Can I pick up my order in your atelier?

We highly recommend picking up your order in person if possible! Not only you save a lot of money on shipping, but we can eliminate the chance of anything happening to your package during transit.
Please choose the in-store pick up option at check out!

Do you offer ceramic workshops?

Yes! We are planning on offering very specific workshops very soon!

Together we will create meaningful heirlooms, and no short lived, trend ridden pieces. So please don’t expect a “paint a piece from the shelf and go” type of workshop!

We will work with a maximum 4 people to ensure everyone gets the support and helping hand they need to create a piece that is meant to be loved and cherished forever.

How do I care for my new piece?

Why does shipping costs so much?

Our standard shipping within Germany starts at 12€, Within the EU at 22€ and to the UK at 30€.

Our shipping cost is calculated with many factors in mind. We only ship with DHL, because in our experience they have the best and most reliable customer service when it comes to problem solving.
We ship our orders in sturdy, double walled cardboard boxes that are much bigger than the piece inside, fully filled with padding to ensure everything arrives to you safely and without any damage.

On top of that, there are extra taxes for shipping.
All of our pieces are unique, therefore they cannot be recreated. So if anything gets lost or damaged on its way to you we cannot just replace it. So in order to minimise the possibility of anything happening during transit, we have to take those measures, which sadly cost more than just the shipping label.

We highly encourage picking up your order in person from our physical store in Bingen am Rhein, Germany.

Why do you have different prices online than on physical markets?

While markets cost us a vendor’s fee, accommodation and gas, we still have to calculate a lot less into the final price.

Selling online comes with a lot of extra cost most people are not aware of, like a fee for your webshop provider, transaction fees, the many hours spent on setting up every listing, taking photos from all angles and writing a description for every piece, and after that time spent on packing, a shipping trash tax, driving/walking to the post office, and every customers right of withdrawal, that also comes with its stack of extra work.

On markets everyone sees each piece in its full beauty, chooses to purchase it, pays and gets it wrapped up as a gift. This is not only a lot less stressful for us, but also a lot less working hours and cost we have to calculate into online shop prices.

How do you calculate prices?

All of our pieces, no matter the medium used, are one of a kind art pieces, and should be treated as such!

Every ceramic piece is shaped, and finished by our own hands, fired, and then painted by hand, with the tiniest brushes, over many hours. Some of our most intricate pieces take up to 20 hours of painting alone. After that they are glazed, fired a second time, and sometimes even lustred and fired a third time to embellish them with gold or platinum.

All of that takes ideas, construction planning time, production time, painting time, material and energy cost, marketing and maintenance, accounting, webshop and atelier rent, health and business insurances, a financial cushion for sick days we can’t work, or holidays we need to recharge like any other person. And of course the never ending list of taxes.

We are aware that most people don’t have their own business and are not self employed, so you’re welcome for this little educational paragraph into any artists life and calculations.
