This small serving platter, depicting a gender neutral knight took a particularly long time to paint. Not only for its many details on the armour, but the intricate gothic border swallowed up a lot of time to design and paint. But every brushstroke and every second (around 7 hours of painting) was well worth it!

The thought about this design was a knight, the gender not being of any relevance, finding strength, resilience and wisdom not in their weapons or armour, but the enlightened mind, once the ego is removed.

Understanding, love and respect will always win over defense and offense ❤️
